The conservatory was built around 20 to 25 years ago. It had a polycarbonate roof and was very cold in winter and quite hot in summer. With the noise of heavy rainfall, you could not hear yourself speak. It was time that we made a change.
We looked at all the different options, from installing another polycarbonate roof to having a glass roof or choosing the SupaLite solution you see today. The SupaLite roof allowed us to reduce the U-value, gain Building Control approval and have the work certified.
The project ran very smoothly and the team at Lightweight Roofing Solutions impressed me. Every evening, they meticulously cleaned up and left the work area as tidy as they possibly could. It is quite a transformation. It is considerably different from how it looked before – it was quite traditional, but now it is open and bright. We are amazed by what the transformation has achieved.
