Project Overview

Oxfordshire homeowners, Mr and Mrs Hin, were searching for a reliable solution to address several issues with their large, bespoke Canadian Redwood conservatory, which had begun showing signs of ageing after 25 years.

Several companies previously advised options ranging from “clad overs” to knock down and rebuilds. However, the homeowners were primarily focused on fixing persistent leaks and improving roof insulation to transform the space into a comfortable, year-round living area.

Gavin offered a bespoke solution that not only resolved the immediate issues but also took into account the couple’s concerns around roof weight, aesthetics, long-term maintenance, and warranty.
