In one of the most comprehensive and challenging Building Control reviews we’ve ever undertaken, our SupaLite Roof System successfully passed East Devon Building Control’s in-depth inspection process.

Project Overview
The East Devon Building Control case took around six months to complete from start to finish.
Throughout that time, we worked closely with the inspector, the installer – Mark at Quay Construction, and our in-house technical team, to provide detailed documentation, structural simulations, condensation risk analysis, and full compliance data for Parts A, B, and C of the Building Regulations.
The process involved several technical reviews, including load and wind simulations created by Prabhu, our CAD Design Technician, and technical coordination by Sean, our Technical Manager, ensuring the installation matched our system standards.
The officer reviewed every aspect of the SupaLite system – structure, insulation, condensation risk, and fire compliance. He requested simulations, calculations, and supporting technical documentation, right down to load paths and risk-of-collapse modelling. It was a deep dive into our roof’s design and performance.
After a comprehensive review, the Building Control officer confirmed that the SupaLite roof meets all regulatory requirements and authorised the completion certificate. It’s a brilliant outcome and a real testament to how rigorous and reliable our design and documentation are.
